Paxman: Finalised reimbursement rates for 2026 - Redeye

Redeye comments on CMS’s finalised reimbursement rates, effective from January 2026. The final rates are largely in line with the proposed rules announced during the summer, with the CPT 1 codes under OPPS continuing to be bundled. Given that the preliminary codes under OPPS were bundled and the challenging task of changing this structure, the outcome comes as no major surprise, and yesterday’s negative market reaction is not justified in our view.
