Ventura Offshore Holding Ltd.: Fleet Contract Extensions
April 10, 2026 - Ventura Offshore Holding Ltd. is pleased to announce a 135-day extension of the current contract and economics for our drillship, DS Carolina, taking operations until September 2026, resulting in approximately US$29 million additional backlog. Except for this mobilization window postponement, no other adjustments were negotiated for the Sepia-Atapu contract.
This DS Carolina contract extension, together with SSV Victoria’s extension announced on April 2, 2026, result in a total additional backlog of US$495 million for the company. Last week the Company also announced an additional backlog of $145million for our managed vessel, Atlantic Zonda, that entitles Ventura Offshore to operating fees.
“This extension further strengthens our backlog and reflects the continued demand for our assets offshore Brazil. Importantly, it allows us to optimize the transition of DS Carolina into its next campaign while maintaining operational continuity and efficiency for our client,” said Guilherme Coelho, CEO of Ventura Offshore.
