Faron Pharmaceuticals: First patient dosed in BLAZE trial - Redeye

Redeye comments on Faron’s announcement that the first patient has been dosed in the investigator-initiated Phase I/II BLAZE trial, evaluating bexmarilimab in combination with nivolumab in patients with NSCLC and melanoma who have progressed on prior anti-PD-1 therapy. While the trial is small, early-stage and led by an academic sponsor, we view it as the first clinical test of bexmarilimab as a checkpoint inhibitor re-sensitizer and an encouraging, capital-efficient step towards broadening the asset beyond MDS.
