Nelly: Growth comes at a price - SEB

Nelly delivered a better-than-feared Q3, although the recovery was driven by higher volumes rather than profitability, as increased discounting and marketing spend weighed on margins. While the narrower earnings decline is encouraging, a sustainable recovery hinges on improving assortment relevance and restoring organic demand. The strong balance sheet provides support, but the management transition adds execution risk, in our view.
