Erja Sankari resigns from Summa Defence’s Board of Directors

Erja Sankari, member of the Board of Directors and the Audit and Risk Committee of Summa Defence Plc, has announced her resignation from the company’s Board effective today due to personal reasons. In August, Ms. Sankari was appointed CEO of Foamit Plc, and she began in the role on 1 September 2025.
Following Ms. Sankari’s resignation, the members of Summa Defence’s Board of Directors are Arto Räty (Chair), Sirpa-Helena Sormunen, Antti Vehviläinen and Jussi Mälkiä.
“I would like to thank Erja for her professional contribution to the Board and wish her all the best in her new role,” says Summa Defence’s Chair Arto Räty.
