FPC AllKey enables biometric server rack access control solution for the Indian data centre market
Hyderabad, India & Gothenburg, Sweden – January 27, 2026 – Fingerprint Cards AB (FPC) today announced that its biometric technology is being used in a biometric-based server rack access control solution developed by ActChip for Dynamic-Technologies. The solution targets the Indian market and introduces biometric authentication at the individual server rack level, adding an additional security layer within data centres.
Biometric security solutions in data centres are traditionally deployed at the facility or room level. This collaboration introduces a new application area by enabling biometric authentication at the server rack level, addressing increased security requirements and reducing the risk of unauthorized access within critical infrastructure. Acthip has developed and integrated the biometric server rack access system using FPC’s AllKey biometric technology to enable secure and reliable access control for critical environments.
For Dynamic-Technologies and Actchip, this biometric solution expands their solution portfolios and enables entry into the biometric access control and bio-security segment. The initial market focus is India, where demand for secure data centre and avionics infrastructure continues to grow.
Adam Philpott, CEO of FPC, comments:
“The project strengthens FPC’s presence in new markets and demonstrates how our biometric technology can be extended into new, security-critical application areas. Data centres represent an important and growing segment of critical infrastructure, where secure access at more granular levels is increasingly required. It is therefore positive to see this solution being developed and deployed in India, a key growth market for FPC where demand for secure biometric solutions continues to increase.”
Niranjan Keesara, CEO of Actchip Pvt Ltd, remarks:
“The integration of FPC’s AllKey biometric fingerprint sensor module helped us accelerate development while maintaining high standards of performance and security. Its robustness and ease of integration were key factors in successfully delivering the product to our customer.”
Raghuraj Ananthoj, Founder-Business Head, Dynamic Technologies, added:
“Choosing FPC as a primary user access point enabled us to deliver and innovate a quick win.
We look into the unseen aspect of the markets and take a strategic path to search for innovation and delivering a win-win-win products for the markets, which is for the user or buyer, producer or seller and even taking of the suppliers’ win in every product we deliver to the markets.”
