Genetic Analysis appoints Mira Halvorsen Børstad as Chief Commercial Officer
Appointment strengthens GA’s commercial leadership as GA-map® adoption expands across the USA, Europe, Asia and Australia
Oslo, Norway – 3 September 2026: Genetic Analysis AS (“GA” or “the Company”), a leader in microbiome diagnostics and developer of the GA-map® platform, today announces the appointment of Mira Halvorsen Børstad as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). She joined the company on 1 September 2026 and will lead GA’s commercial organization as a member of the executive management team, reporting to CEO Ronny Hermansen.
The appointment follows continued commercial and scientific progress for GA. During 2026, the Company has launched its AI-assisted interpretation platform AInsight, strengthened the clinical evidence supporting GA-map® through new peer-reviewed research, and expanded its international footprint with its first placement in Australia. In parallel, GA-map® IBD Precision Dx is advancing toward a research-use-only launch later this year.
Halvorsen Børstad brings international commercial leadership experience from the life sciences and healthcare sectors. She joins GA from Curida AS, where she served as Commercial Director, Biologics & Dx Solutions, leading an international team focused on market expansion, revenue growth, customer value and long-term partnerships across borders. She was previously Head of Business Development at Curida Diatec, where she built the company’s European sales organization.
At GA, Halvorsen Børstad will have overall responsibility for the Company’s commercial activities, including the development and implementation of commercial strategies and the prioritization of the product strategy based on customer needs. She will also be responsible for establishing, developing and managing strategic partnerships and customer relationships to drive long-term value and sustainable growth.
