Spotlight Stock Market approves Svea Mining AB for listing of its shares
Spotlight Stock Market has approved an application for admission to trading of Svea Mining AB’s (the “Company” or “Svea Mining”) shares on Spotlight Stock Market. The first day of trading is expected to commence on October 27, 2026 and the shares will trade under the trading symbol (ticker) “SVEA” (ISIN: SE0030252599). No shares are being offered to the public in any jurisdiction in connection with the listing.
Svea Mining is a gold, copper and silver exploration company with two mineral exploration permits in northern Sweden – Stöverfors and Kalvträsk – both located in areas with documented historical gold, copper and silver mineralization.
“Listing the Company gives us access to the broader capital markets, allowing us to build a larger platform Company faster. Gold, copper and silver prices have all hit record highs in 2026, so the timing to list is ideal. Our initial work program was completed this summer, led by a team of geologists with experience in the region, and we are now waiting on the results,” says Svea Mining CEO Mackenzie Osborne.
Gold remains above $4,000 USD per ounce, easing back from the all-time high above $5,000 USD set earlier this year, but still up roughly 50% from levels two years ago. At these levels, gold projects that reach production carry profit margins that would have seemed extraordinary to miners just a few years ago, making quality assets in the ground more valuable today than at almost any point in the history of the metal.
“Copper and silver demand is expected to rise sharply with electrification and AI infrastructure, strengthening the economics of any deposit found. Reaching production is a long-term proposition, so alongside our own exploration, we're also evaluating later-stage projects, including producing mines, for investment,” says Ken Osborne.
“Sweden is a very stable mining jurisdiction, with transparent permitting and an easy environment to work in, so it was natural to bring the story to where the assets are and list the Company here,” says Mackenzie Osborne.
“Our properties are polymetallic, hosting gold, copper and silver. Our exploration program is designed to confirm sufficient mineral resources to justify further exploration and, eventually, mining,” says Ken Osborne.
Gold, copper and silver share a deep geological relationship, and some of the world's most prolific mining operations produce all three metals simultaneously from the same deposit, a geological reality that has long made polymetallic projects among the most economically compelling assets in the entire mining industry.
An investment memorandum (in English) relating to the listing of the Svea Mining’s shares is available on the Company’s website, www.sveamining.com.
After the first day of trading, Svea Mining intends to convene an extraordinary general meeting to resolve on a reduction of the Company’s share capital. Further information regarding the proposed reduction will be provided separately.
