Volvo Cars reports rolling three-month sales for the period ending January 2026

Volvo Cars reported global sales of 177,830 cars for the three-month period between November 2025 and January 2026, down by 7 per cent compared to the same period between November 2024 and January 2025.

Beginning this month, Volvo Cars will report sales figures on a rolling three‑month basis instead of a standalone month. This provides a more accurate and meaningful view of the company’s sales performance over time.

Sales figures from the past three months highlight a challenging market across regions with continued pricing and competitive pressures, further worsened by unfavourable regulatory developments in the US.

“We are encouraged by the growth in sales of our fully electric cars, notably the EX90 and EX30. In China, the XC70 long range PHEV continues to expand our position in the rapidly growing electrified segment,” said Erik Severinson, Chief Commercial Officer. “Furthermore, we are pleased by the strong customer interest in our gamechanger EX60 electric SUV, following its global launch in January.”

The company's sales of electrified models fully electric and plug-in hybrid models – accounted for 48,6 per cent of all cars sold during the three-month period. Fully electric cars comprised 24 per cent of all cars sold for the period, while the share of plug-in hybrid models accounted for 24,6 per cent.
