ExpreS2ion Biotech: SEK19.3m TO 13 guarantee and a SEK50m equity facility - Redeye

Redeye comments on ExpreS2ion’s announcement that it has secured a guarantee undertaking of approximately SEK19.3m, corresponding to roughly 60% of the maximum proceeds from the ongoing TO 13 warrant program, and that it has simultaneously entered into a put option agreement with Alumni Capital providing access to up to SEK50m in committed equity financing. We view the guarantee as a meaningful de-risking of the near-term funding situation, effectively securing the capital needed to carry ES2B-C001 through its primary Phase I readout, while the Alumni facility adds optionality rather than near-term cash.
