Redeye comments on Smart Eye’s acquisition of Sightic, which removes the most meaningful competitive threat in camera-based alcohol impairment detection and positions the company to dominate what we believe will become a standard safety feature layered on top of DMS. Based on our assumptions, the transaction implies an acquisition multiple of roughly 6.9-1.4x EBITDA on 2028-2030e. Against this backdrop, we raise both our long-term ASP assumptions and our Base Case valuation.
