NP Innovation establishes headquarters and manufacturing facility at Wihlborgs in Malmö
NP Innovation, a company specializing in water treatment technology primarily for land-based aquaculture, will in December 2025 move its headquarters and expanding production operations to Wihlborgs’ premises in Fosie (Olsgård 8), Malmö. The lease covers 3,700 square metres and runs for five years.
Founded in 2012, NP Innovation has experienced strong growth in recent years, with customers in countries such as Norway, Iceland, and Japan. The company’s products are used worldwide in land-based fish farming, providing solutions for removing particles, ammonia, and carbon dioxide from water.
The new establishment will enable the company to bring more of its final assembly and production in-house, creating the conditions for continued expansion in the rapidly growing global aquaculture market.
The occupancy will be preceded by a short adaptation period following the current tenant’s departure.
“This relocation marks an important milestone for our company. The property not only allows us to meet the rapidly increasing global demand for sustainable aquaculture solutions, but also strengthens our ability to accelerate innovation and deliver greater value to our customers worldwide. Wihlborgs has been highly supportive in helping us find a property that meets both needs,” says Michael Bäärnhielm, CEO of NP Innovation.
“NP Innovation is a forward-looking tenant with strong global growth potential, and we are pleased that they have chosen Malmö and Fosie as their base for continued expansion. Demand for modern premises that combine office and production space is high, and Wihlborgs can offer facilities that support both establishment and growth”, says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.
