Rejlers awarded contract for Oriola’s new high-tech distribution centre in Järvenpää
Rejlers has been selected by Oriola, a leading pharmaceutical distribution company, to provide technical consultancy services for the construction of a cutting-edge distribution centre in Järvenpää, Finland. The new facility marks a significant strategic project for Oriola, featuring scalable, highly automated logistics and ambitious sustainability targets.
The development of the new distribution centre is estimated at EUR 110–120 million and is expected to enhance operational efficiency, support sustainable practices and improve customer service. Construction of the approximately 30,000 square metre facility is set to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
Rejlers will deliver a comprehensive range of multidisciplinary engineering services, including HSE management, principal and architectural design, electrical and ICT engineering, structural engineering, HVAC and fire safety design, energy and lifecycle consulting, and geotechnical engineering. The building is being designed to meet BREEAM Excellent certification standards and is expected to be 50% more energy-efficient than conventional facilities.
