Wihlborgs continues to refine its portfolio in Helsingborg through targeted acquisition and divestment

{newsItem.title}

Wihlborgs has acquired the property Snårskogen 2 in Väla Norra, thereby strengthening its presence in the area, which now forms a dense cluster of properties. In connection with the acquisition, a ten-year lease agreement has been signed. At the same time, Wihlborgs has divested the properties Planteringen 1:8 and Planteringen 1:9 in the southern part of the city. The sale enables a stronger focus on the development of other properties in the area while also contributing to the city’s plans for future port operations.

The industrial property Snårskogen 2 comprises 2,600 sqm and is adjacent to Wihlborgs’ properties Snårskogen 1, 4 and 5, as well as Lövskogen 3. At Snårskogen 5, Wihlborgs has recently developed facilities for Rollco and Doka. Between these properties lies an undeveloped land area of 10,000 sqm. The acquisition of Snårskogen 2 strengthens Wihlborgs’ presence in Väla Norra and enables a more cohesive development of the area.

The current owner of the property, Bosch Rexroth AB, is selling the business operations conducted on the property to Nomo Industrial Automation AB, which has signed a ten-year lease agreement with Wihlborgs starting 3 November 2025.

Snårskogen 2 is being acquired for SEK 26.5 million through a property transaction.

At the end of August, Wihlborgs signed an agreement with the City of Helsingborg regarding the sale of the properties Planteringen 1:8 and Planteringen 1:9 in Hamncity in southern Helsingborg, with a total lettable area of 8,000 sqm. The occupancy rate is low and maintenance needs over the coming years are high. At the same time, the properties are important for the continued development of Helsingborg Port and the planned relocation of the container port and intermodal terminal.

The properties are being divested for SEK 41.5 million through a property transaction. Handover took place on 1 October.

“Snårskogen 2 was the final and perfect piece of the puzzle that allows us to create a more cohesive structure for operations in the area. By owning the entire block, we can plan spaces and development based on tenants’ needs in an efficient way. On the other side of the city, we are divesting properties that play a more valuable role in enabling another exciting chapter in Helsingborg’s development as a logistics hub. Together, these transactions are well aligned with how we aim to develop and manage our portfolio going forward,” says Ulrika Hallengren, CEO of Wihlborgs.
